As you might have heard through our Twitter, we wanted to do a Podcast. We were trying to find a podcast that touches on all things that we’ve been working on technology and industry related and couldn’t find anything, so we decided to just do it ourselves. We thought a podcast could complement the mounting interest in our blog posts and questions that we’ve been receiving from the community. We took questions through Twitter and made them into several episodes. A couple of things to keep in mind:
We’ve never done this before! Forgive us if it doesn’t sound too balanced or if the publishing was wonky.
We recorded this in a living room. There are ambient noises from the kitchen, a baby babbling, and a kid coming home from school in the background.
We wanted to give credit to the people that sent us the questions, but didn’t. We did this because a lot of them were DM’s and we didn’t know if people wanted to be anonymous when asking. If you want a retro-active on air thanks or if you submit a question in the future and you are cool with us saying thank you, please let us know how to credit you.
We also want to do things divergently here at Our Machinery. We decided to officially announce what exactly we are building on the podcast, instead of sending out a press release. We value our community and wanted to speak directly to you. Expect more announcements on the podcast. Please enjoy our first episode, “The Machinery Intro”.
Special Thanks to all those that submitted questions for this round. And THANK YOU to giantmecha for the intro/outro music. You can check his stuff out here: http://soundcloud.com/giantmecha.
We hope you like the podcast and find it useful!
